1. About This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Doctor Lips, LLC, doing business as Dr. Lips (“Dr. Lips,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and discloses information through our website at https://doctorlipsusa.com/ and through the forms, booking tools, and messaging services connected to it.

This policy covers the website. It does not replace any Notice of Privacy Practices we provide to patients regarding protected health information, and it does not replace any consent or authorization form you sign in our clinic. Where those documents apply, they govern.

By using this website, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Mobile information collected for text messaging is used only to deliver our own communications to you and is shared only with the service providers that operate our messaging system on our behalf.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of marketing texts does not opt you out of transactional messages about an appointment you have booked.

5. How We Share Information

We share information in the following circumstances and no others:

Service providers. Companies that operate our booking system, electronic medical record, customer relationship management platform, website hosting, email and text messaging, payment processing, and analytics. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

6. Cookies, Pixels, and Advertising Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, and measure advertising performance.

Some of these are provided by third parties, which may include analytics providers and advertising platforms. Where used, these technologies may collect information about your visit to this site and combine it with information those platforms hold about you, which can result in you seeing our ads on other websites and social media services.

We do not deploy advertising or analytics tracking technologies on pages where you submit health information, including intake forms and the booking flow. Advertising technologies elsewhere on the site are configured to exclude information about specific treatments, conditions, or appointments.

Your controls.

  • We honor Global Privacy Control signals where our systems receive them.

7. Data Retention

We retain website inquiry and marketing information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and then for a reasonable period afterward for legal and business records.

Patient records are retained in accordance with Florida law and applicable professional recordkeeping requirements, which impose their own retention periods independent of this policy.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, use, and disclosure. These include access controls, encryption in transit, and vendor agreements requiring comparable protections.

No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Please do not send sensitive health information through unencrypted email or a general website contact form. Use the secure patient portal or contact the clinic by phone.
